Are you a car fanatic? Last weekend, my sister and I went to a car show in Prescott. It was great!

I don’t know much about cars, but these cars were amazing. I loved and admire the aesthetics.

Thanks you, Greg. Greg is the man at the end of the video with the mic. He invited me. I met him at a networking event, where he told me about the car show he was participating. He is a DJ - Playing Music is my Business - that’s the name of his business.

My sister and I had a great time!

What do you perfer? The city or country?

Every time I travel, I’m more convinced that I’m a city gal. I love the city, the big buildings, city lights, and the noise.

I do enjoy visiting small towns, but every time I came back to Phoenix, I’m home.

Two weeks ago, I flew to Springfield, IL for a photography business conference. This was with the Photography Business Institute with Sarah Petty. I’m part of her coaching program called Peak Performancers, where Sarah and her team help photographer become artist and a build successful business.

I figured I’d (re)introduce myself! My name is Janet and I’m a boutique portrait photographer from Phoenix, AZ.

I started taking photos of families and quinceañeras in 2018. Now, I help families celebrate each other with heirloom artwork. Artwork includes wall portraits of your kids and albums of your amazing family.

A little-known fact about me is I love taking selfies in my car.
I love going hiking, even though I do it once a month.
I enjoy drinking coffee.

Growth is not always comfortable.

And it's not pretty or painless.

I used to journal a lot. I got this pink journal tucked away on my bookshelf for a while. I had already finished two journals and needed a new one. So, I grab this pink journal out. The thing is, I already wrote two journal entries back in September 2020. I took the opportunity to reflect on where I was four years ago.

The funny thing, I still struggle with the same mental issues but I have learned to push through. Also, I accomplished a few things that I wrote and I'm doing what I set myself to do.

Yes, growth is not comfortable. Growth is painful. But growth is beautiful, as well.
Growth allows you to enjoy every step of the way.
Growth is learning how to keep going even on your bad days.
Growth is different.
Growth is letting go.
Growth is spreading your wings and enjoying a good rainy day.

Was I nervous? Yes!
Was I worried? Maybe a little bit.

It went GREAT! I have a lot to growth and learning to do to improve my public speaking.

I’m grateful where I am today.

I’m putting my photography out there and letting people know who I am and what I have to offer.

I was feeling a a bit discouraged because of things I can’t control, but after this interview, doing some house cleaning and taking a moment to reflect where I am today, I’m grateful.
