A Beautiful Family Session at Freestone Park in Gilbert
This was my second family session at Freestone Park, and it’s quickly becoming one of my favorite locations for outdoor portraits. This scenic spot in Gilbert is a hidden gem, with its lush greenery, charming bridges, and a small waterfall that adds a touch of magic to every shot.
One of the things I love most about Freestone Park is the variety of backdrops it offers. The wide-open spaces and tall trees create the perfect setting for relaxed family poses. And then, there’s the iconic bridge—it’s becoming one of my signature spots. I often ask families to walk hand-in-hand across the bridge, smiling and enjoying the moment together. This pose has become a favorite among my clients, capturing the essence of togetherness and creating a timeless look.
My goal with every family portrait session is to capture the unique relationships within the family. It’s a special opportunity for families to be together, connect, and share a few lighthearted moments. Things might feel a little awkward at first, but there’s always a lot of laughter that follows! These moments make the portraits not only visually stunning but deeply meaningful to the families who will cherish them for years to come.
